Translating legal documents is a complex and delicate task, and not just because legal terminology constitutes a unique language of its own.
Differences in history and legal tradition among polities mean that for a given term or concept in the source language, a direct equivalent may not even exist for the target.
For that reason, general knowledge and intuition arent enough when a single false step in the translation of a legal document may render it useless.
Sometimes it will be necessary to do extensive research on a single term, but in every case this dictionary is an excellent place to start.
